John Wardle Architects selected Sapphires Anodised finishes to reflect the changing colours of the leaves on the trees that surround the project within the Universitie's grounds.

John Wardle Architects won an International Design Competition for the USYD Central Building for the University of Sydney. Located on City Road this $50 million project creates a new gateway for the University and contains a 3500 sqm Public Plaza, 4500sqm Sciences and Technology Library, 1000sqm of Specialist Retail and 7500sqm of Student Services spaces and a bridge linking the Camperdown and Darlington Campuses.
