Sapphire was contacted by HSLA to come up with advice regarding the suitability of anodising for the screen on the bridge in order to help beautify the bridge and worked with HSLA and Locker Group to come up with three of Sapphire’s Colours in 25 micron as it will withstand the saltwater environment in which the aluminium screens are installed.

Go Between Bridge connects the northern and western suburbs to South Brisbane and West End.

Burwood Hwy Pedestrian Bridge – 2009

The Burwood Highway Pedestrian bridge is part of Victoria’s Bicycle Pathway program in providing safe non stop commuting paths for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge was designed out of steel and aluminium to keep the structure light when spanning a 6 lane highway.

North Williamstown Station

Sapphire was contacted to provide finishes for the undercrofts on the platforms that welcome travellors to the new station. Denton Corker Marshall chose vibrant anodised finishes to contrast to the traditional red brick buildings and tie in with natural surrounds of the station.
