When the three-level Colombian Hotel on Oxford St Darlinghurst sold in 2016 there were fears for the popular LGBTIQ venue. However the buyer, Iris Capital, has not only maintained the Colombian as an inclusive entertainment venue they have revamped it and added a fabulous rooftop bar.
Squillace architects designed the renovations and Di Emme fabricated and installed the luxe gold wall on the stairway between the levels. The 600+ aluminium tubes are anodised in Sapphire’s Bright Straw and adhered directly on the wall with great precision and care.
